Saturday time to chill guys, i recommend a good place in Kebon Sirih , Its Tugu Kawisari Cafe & Eatery, under the same group with their other properties such as Tugu Kunstkring Paleis, Shanghai Blue, Dapur Babah Elite & Tao Bar & Lara Djonggrang. This cafe is so beautiful, they sell from coffee, snacks and some heavy meals like rice and wine as well. Luxury experiences in traditional culture, specifically Javanese. The interior are so clean & pretty with the decoration, mirror, some pictures with frame hanging on the wall.

They sell coffee beans and honey which harvested from their own plantation in Blitar. Its about 850 hectares,the plantation produces coffee, rubber, clove and organic vegetables. When you are happen to be in Blitar area, Hotel Tugu Blitar also provide coffee tour for half day and full day. The great things is Kawisari coffee won AVPA Paris award for their Javanese specialty Robusta beans with the category strong, powerful and bitter. AVPA is an organization that aims to add value to agricultural products in various countries. They give awards for a number of coffee products from Indonesia which increase export opportunities to European markets.

Kawisari Cafe & Eatery also have 2 private rooms : capacity for 16 persons with minimum spending Idr 2.500.000++ & 30 persons with minimum spending IDR 5.000.000++. The place is so nice and spacious. You can reserve it for any of your special occasions,

a coffee drink, that the most favourable among any other coffee like kopi klepon, this is the basic oke, which they use honey as the sweetened. The coffee presentation is pretty because they served it on a wooden tray and you will get extra coffee in a small glass also came up with a rolled paper sweet thank you notes. Creative! The coffee is strong, rich flavour, bitter and aromatic.

Its a fried cassava which is balance savory and spicy at the same time. The red chili is homemade, freshly made with red chili along with lime, salt and pepper. The texture is soft inside and crispy outside

This menu is good for lunch or dinner. Rice is made from corn and coconut milk, this rice can be easily found around Javanese. Actually i never try it before, so its my first time and taste surprisingly good. This menu serve with ayam goreng Kawisari, sayur lodeh campur, urapan sayur, ikan asin bulu ayam & sambel tempe. A hearty meal taste just like mom’s cook for their kids. Ps. The chili is actually spicy for me. Just be careful Okay.
